First Fruits Sunday is a monumental day in the life of Citygate Church. A day of faith, expectation and honouring God with the first fruits of our increase. So this Sunday, let's honour God with our best, declare His provision and favour for this year, and celebrate His goodness together as a church family.
If you’ve never been to a First Fruits service at Citygate Church before - here’s all you need to know, below:

This year, our First Fruits service will be held here, at Citygate Church, Beckenham.
What Time Are The Services?
Each First Fruits service will run at our usual times - 8:30AM | 10:15AM | 12:00PM | 5:00PM
Please arrive early, as each service includes prayer and anointing forevery family, and we want to ensure services do not overrun.
What If I Can’t Attend In Person?

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE for first fruits?
If you haven’t done so already, start thinking about your over-and-above offering amount.
Come with a clear, faith-filled vision and prayer request for the year ahead - your assigned prayer leader will pray intentionally and specifically with you, so come ready!
Pray ahead of this Sunday; for our Senior Pastors, Leaders and Teams; that all will come stirred and expectant for all that God will do!
HOW should i GIVE my FIRST FRUITS OFFERING?
STEP 1: Complete the First Fruits Form
During the service, you’ll receive a form to clearly declare the following:
Your over-and-above offering amount
An optional pledge amount to give in addition to your offering
(Pledges must be fulfilled by Tuesday, 31 March 2026.)Your total giving amount (this is your one-time gift plus your pledge amount, added together)
Please be sure to include your Gift Aid ID in the correct section of the form. If you don’t have one yet, simply turn to the back of the form to create it - it takes about 30 seconds.
STEP 2: Bring Your Offering Forward
Once your form is completed, you’ll be invited up to the platform with your family to be prayed for and anointed.
You can give your offering in one of the following ways during the service:
Bank transfer, online, or card - include your Gift Aid ID in the payment reference, then bring your completed First Fruits form to the platform and place it in the “Honour God First” offering box.
Cash or cheque - place your cash or cheque inside the envelope with your form, then bring it with you to the platform and place it in the “Honour God First” white offering box.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A FIRST FRUITS SERVICE?
At First Fruits service you can expect:
An extended time in dynamic praise, worship & thanksgiving.
A time of declaring God’s faithfulness and blessing over the year ahead.
Personal prayer for you and your family where you will all be anointed with oil and so much more!
PLEASE NOTE : NO KIDS CHURCH THIS SUNDAY
Please bring your children with you into the auditorium so you can worship and be prayed for together.
If you need noise-cancelling headphones, you’ll be able to collect these at reception.
CAN I BE PRAYED FOR ONLINE?
Yes, you can! We understand that some of you may be unable to make it to church gatherings in person, so we want to make room for you too. You can book your prayer call here and someone from the team will be in touch with further information.
